Vintage TransAm class

K.R.C.R. Canadian Vintage TransAm class will follow the VTA rules with two exceptions; 21.5T motor & ESC with “Blinky Mode” will be allowed.

Chassis: 190mm – 200mm
Body: Late 60′s to early 70′s American pony car Vintage Trans-Am bodies only. > Any year Camaro, Firebird, Mustang, Barracuda, Challenger or Javelin Body.  Must be Numbered & Lettered and you are encouraged ainting it to resemble a real race car.

ESC: ROAR approved Stock ESC, no boost/turbo or timing advance (Blinky Mode allowed)

Ford Escort Mk1 au 1/4

le baja 5 (au 1/5!)  est un monument du modélisme, l’original HPI s’est vendu à des milliers d’exemplaires, les variante 2.0 ou autres trucks aussi. Si on ajoute les “clones” asiatique celà fait un beau cheptel de 4×2 en liberté! La contrepartie de ce succès c’est que la carrosserie de base type  “Baja Mil” (ces véhicules qui depuis la fin des années 60 participent à un “rallye raid” en Californie et Mexique) est plutôt commune!

D’où l’idée d’un camarade Finlandais de l’habiller d’une carrosserie mythique des Rallyes: la Ford Escort première du nom: la mk1! victorieuse du championnat d’Europe des Rallyes en 68 et 69.

Pour cela il a fabriqué à la main un master en médium d’où il a tiré un moule, permettant ensuite d’en faire des tirages en fibre de verre. Réparateur de bateaux de fibre de métier, le travail est maitrisé, les vitre en Lexan thermoformé sont de la partie aussi!

Vögele Motorsport “Klassik – Cup” 2005

The company Vögele Motorsport from Stuttgart is paving the way for the competition program in the model racing. The Stuttgart-based company wrote for the 2005 season, the competition “Vögele Motor Sport Classic Cup” as the brand new trophy.
Thus, given the guard of the scale 1:5 model sport possessed an exciting new racing series, the unforgettable splendor of the 70s brings back the Minidrome.

Classic cars are too old to be all new, but too young to be old-timer, as simple as that therefore it was decided in Stuttgart recreate faithfully Vögele Motorsport, the bodies of the popular classic in the scale of 1:5.
In this series should enjoy the participation of a much more important than success, which means that a lot of emphasis on its social aspect and the camaraderie with each other. Ferocious hunger for success in this series is not called for. So, fun and entertainment, rather than cramp and perseverance.
